Serving as a senior advisor to three Members of Congress across both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives, Mickey managed high-stakes policy portfolios, including:
Fiscal & Economic Policy: Congressional Appropriations, U.S. Budget, Financial Services, and U.S. Tax Code
Infrastructure & Operations: Transportation (Aviation, Surface/Highway/Transit, Rail, and Water), Homeland Security, and Government Reform
Legal & Global Affairs: Judiciary, Foreign Affairs, and Foreign Trade
State & Federal Advocacy
Mickey also spent years serving as the primary federal lobbyist for the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), successfully advancing state infrastructure priorities under four different Republican and Democratic governors.
